Automations

Automations let you define rules that trigger actions when specific events occur in your CRM.

Creating an Automation

Navigate to Automations > Create. Each automation has a trigger (the event that starts it) and one or more actions (what happens in response).

Triggers

Available triggers include: record enters pipeline stage, record is created, record is updated, contact tag changes, activity is logged, and scheduled (time-based). For example, trigger when a candidate moves to the "Offer" stage.

Actions

Available actions include: send email notification, create a task, update a field, move record to a stage, assign record to a team member, and call a webhook. For example, when a candidate moves to "Offer," automatically notify the hiring manager and create a follow-up task.

Common Automation Patterns

Stale candidate alert: Trigger when a pipeline record has been in the same stage for more than 14 days. Action: send a notification to the assigned recruiter.

New application routing: Trigger when a contact is created with a specific tag. Action: assign to the recruiter responsible for that role and move to the first pipeline stage.

Follow-up reminder: Trigger 3 days after a contact is moved to "Contacted" with no subsequent activity. Action: create a task for the assigned team member.

Managing Automations

View all active automations under Automations. Each automation shows its trigger, actions, run count, and last triggered time. Pause or delete automations at any time.
